Pasta Vera has the unusual role as a wholesale producer and a physical restaurant. New owners had taken over this established brand and brief was to rebrand the wholesale business and create a sub-brand for la cucina di pasta vera.
The rich and textured behind the scenes production provided a great opportunity to tell the brand story so the identity demanded a simple solution. I created an elegant identity inspired by the well known pasta shapes with clean contemporary typography.
The colour palette is a modern slant on traditional colours, is neutral but strong to create differentiation at the various points of sales. The marque was used in the cafe interiors to reinforce the brand legacy and focus on customers' experience with love and intention.
