Sadhana means daily spiritual practice. It’s what we are doing creating here, a consistent check in with yourself. It’s no more complicated than that. It’s your personal

‘So how are you doing today?’

It’s connecting your finite self with your infinite – bigger or higher self. Sadhana builds your discipline muscle and helps you take control of your life. It is overcoming the ego to learn to serve yourself, as you serve others. Serving others is what business and life is all about. It is in the giving we receive. Business and life is a circle of needs fulfillment. You, your business, your clients, family, friends, community and the planet. If we are not fulfilling each of these needs something breaks and we forfeit sustainability. This is one of the things we explore in my introductory business and branding program curiosity, concepts and conception

Sadhana is the foundation of all spiritual practice and as we learn practice means you need to do it again and again and again and again . . . .

We accept we need to process what we consume through our digestive system and the health of your body is determined by the simple equation of what goes in must be expelled in some way. Anyone who has ever eaten an extremely hot curry will relate to this 🙂 In the same way research shows we make 35,000 decisions a day and if you can believe it 226.7 on food* alone. Top tip I ask my body what it needs before I open the fridge or look at the menu. It doesn’t mean I follow its sage advice That’s a lot of information to process so think of your meditation as but more than I might otherwise 🙂 but I digress. Cleaning out your mind so you can start each day afresh and make clearer and better decisions is a pretty good reason to do it. If you feel calmer after the meditation you can do it before you go to sleep to release your day. It has been shown again through research, that this meditation** helps you sleep better and helps arrest Alzheimer’s. You can read more about sadhana here

Thank you for being here. Each of you are inspiring me to keep my commitment to writing each day. I am very grateful for your wholehearted participation. Keep Up and we will all be kept up on this adventure we call life.

Here’s the meditation It starts at 2.50 minutes.

Until soon
