Meditation to Remove Blocks – Create momentum, Get things done

IMG_0875

Sometimes everything seems stuck. No matter what you do, you hit a wall. You keep banging away, All you produce is more noise. Not a symphony in sight:-)

This meditation will blast through your subconscious blocks that stop you in your work, your life, your relationships. It’s called the Mandhavani Kriya in Kundalini Yoga.

I do yoga (and meditation) to do life better. And Kundalini Yoga and Meditation works faster, more effectively and more efficiently than anything else I’ve ever encountered. So I keep doing it, every day.

I believe that what we do every day is who we become. Our lives are the compound interest on our daily practice: our throughs, our words, our actions. This is the most awful threat and the most delicious promise. Click To Tweet

I’ve been doing this particular meditation daily since the beginning of January and it has been bringing to my awareness blocks I have to love, to success, to abundance, to ease. . . Yep, I’ve got a few:-) but I can attest that I’ve got less than I had on December 31:-) This meditation is for the 2nd sutraThere is a way through every block Click To Tweet

As we know the first step to change is awareness And as we know only too well. Change never ends, There are always more layers and then some.

It creates a deeply satisfying life to be able to embrace the gifts and challenges we inevitably face with greater ease and grace as we discover own truth, beauty and lightness and to uplift others along the way, to be constantly evolving and growing and realising this is really our work in life: not climbing the corporate ladder, or creating the next best thing, or being the prettiest, shiniest, fastest or if you’re younger than 3, the bestest, but who we are becoming as we do these things.Who are you becoming as you do what you do? Practice this meditation for 40 days to break a habit, 90 days to create a new habit, 120 to embed it in your consciousness or 1,001 days to master it.

Now let’s get into it:

Posture Sit in a comfortable cross-legged position with a straight spine.

Mudra Bring the hands in front of the throat with your forearms paraIlel to the ground. The right hand is on top. Allow the fingers of the right hand to rest on the back of the left hand.

The left hand is palm down. The palm is flat and the fingers point to the right. Extend the left thumb toward the throat.

Bring the right thumb between the left thumb and index finger, placing it in the center of the left palm.

Lock the right thumb in place, Apply a firm pressure on the left palm. Hold the position at the level of the throat about six inches in front of the body.

Eyes The eyes are closed with the focus on the 3rd eye (between the eyebrows above the bridge of the nose)

Mantra Aad Sach, Jugaad Sach, Hai Bhay Sach, Naanak Hosee Bhay Sach

Breath Inhale deeply. On the exhale chant the mantra in a monotone. Inhale deeply again and continue.

Time 31 minutes

Comments Be sure to keep the arms parallel to the ground. The key to this meditation is locking the right thumb and keeping a firm pressure on the center of the left hand. Your thumb may become sore. Be strong and don’t give an inch. Keep recommitting to the posture.

I chant with this recording

Enjoy and please tell me your experience or email me with any questions. And enjoy the freedom this meditation will be sure to deliver.

Please share. After all we are all in this together. And life’s just better when we are all being our best selves. x
